2. SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through:
• The Tech Innovations website at tech-innovations.io and all subdomains and associated promotional landing pages;
• The Tech Innovations 2026 Personal Workspace Giveaway entry form and related promotional materials;
• Cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies deployed on our website and promotional pages;
• Email and other communications between you and Tech Innovations in connection with our website, products, or Promotions; and
• Any other digital interaction with Tech Innovations where personal information is collected.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected offline, to third-party websites linked from our website, or to the independent data practices of the manufacturers, vendors, or brands whose products we resell (including but not limited to Logitech). When you interact with a manufacturer's registration portal, warranty system, software application, or support platform, that manufacturer's privacy policy governs — not this one.
RESELLER NOTICE: Tech Innovations sells products manufactured by third parties including Logitech. When you register a Logitech product, download Logitech software (such as Logi Options+), use Logitech's firmware update services, or interact with any Logitech platform, you are interacting directly with Logitech under Logitech's own Privacy Policy (available at logitech.com/en-us/legal/privacy-policy). Tech Innovations does not receive, process, or control personal data that you submit directly to product manufacturers. Manufacturer data practices are entirely independent of this Policy.
3. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to a particular individual or household. We collect it in the categories described below.
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
• Identifiers: First name, last name, business email address, company name, company domain, and job title — collected at entry to the Promotion or when you contact us.
• Shipping information: Physical mailing address collected from confirmed winners only, for the sole purpose of prize delivery. P.O. Box addresses are not accepted for prize shipment.
• Geolocation (self-reported): U.S. state of residence collected via a drop-down field for eligibility verification. IP-based geolocation is also used to enforce jurisdictional eligibility controls.
• Communications: Any information you voluntarily include in emails, contact forms, or other correspondence with us.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
• Device and network identifiers: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and device identifiers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, time and duration of visits, clickstream data, links clicked, referring URLs, and entry form interactions.
• Cookie and tracking data: Data collected by cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies as further described in Section 6.
• Advertising attribution data: UTM parameters and campaign identifiers associated with our paid media placements, including placements in TechnologyAdvice's HR for Humans newsletter, Daily Tech Insider newsletter, and associated display advertising networks.
3.3 Information Received from Third Parties
• Advertising and media partners, including TechnologyAdvice, may share aggregated or identifiable click and conversion data tied to our paid media placements.
• Business verification tools may be used to confirm that a Promotion entrant's email domain corresponds to a legitimate business entity, for eligibility purposes.
• Analytics service providers process device and behavioral data on our behalf.
We do not purchase consumer data lists for direct marketing in connection with this website or Promotion.
3.4 Data We Do NOT Collect
As a reseller, Tech Innovations does not collect the following categories of data, which may be collected by manufacturers directly from end users who register their products or use manufacturer software:
• Product usage telemetry (e.g., button presses, keystroke customization data, device usage frequency).
• Firmware or device configuration data.
• Data transmitted to or from manufacturer cloud services, apps, or software (e.g., Logitech Options+, Logitech Sync, Logitech G HUB).
• Data generated through manufacturer loyalty, warranty, or registration programs.
If you have questions about data collected by a product manufacturer, refer to that manufacturer's privacy policy.
3.5 Sensitive Personal Information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under applicable state privacy laws, including Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation data, health or medical data, biometric data, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or citizenship and immigration status. If you believe you have inadvertently submitted sensitive information, contact us at privacy@tech-innovations.io to request deletion.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
4.1 Promotion Administration
• To receive, process, and validate entries to the Tech Innovations 2026 Personal Workspace Giveaway.
• To verify eligibility, including state-of-residence verification and business-domain validation.
• To conduct the random drawing and select winners.
• To notify potential winners and coordinate prize fulfillment, including shipping address collection and logistics coordination.
• To issue required tax documentation (including IRS Form 1099-MISC where applicable law and prize value thresholds require it).
• To maintain records for compliance, audit, and legal purposes.
4.2 Website Operations and Analytics
• To operate, maintain, and improve our website and landing pages.
• To analyze traffic patterns, user behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
• To measure the performance of paid media placements with TechnologyAdvice and other advertising partners.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and security threats.
• To operate geolocation-based eligibility controls that restrict Promotion entry form access from excluded jurisdictions (including but not limited to Florida, Massachusetts, and New York).
4.3 Communications
• To respond to inquiries, support requests, and data subject rights requests.
• To send transactional communications related to your Promotion entry or order status.
• To send marketing or promotional communications only where you have provided separate, express consent or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
4.4 Legal Compliance and Protection

• To respond to lawful requests from government authorities or law enforcement.
• To protect the rights, property, and safety of Tech Innovations, our users, and the public.
We will not use your personal information for any purpose materially different from those described above without providing prior notice and, where required by applicable law, obtaining your consent.
5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Tech Innovations does not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. We share personal information only as described below.
5.1 Service Providers (Data Processors)
We share personal information with vendors who process data on our behalf and under our documented instructions. These include:
• Email delivery and marketing automation platforms.
• Website hosting and cloud infrastructure providers.
• Web analytics providers (including Google Analytics and similar tools).
• Advertising attribution and measurement platforms.
• Prize fulfillment and logistics vendors (for shipping prizes to winners).
• Business domain verification tools.
• Legal and compliance service providers.
These service providers are contractually prohibited from using your personal information for purposes other than providing services to us and are required to implement appropriate data security measures.
5.2 Advertising and Media Partners
We share limited data with paid media partners for campaign performance measurement. This includes TechnologyAdvice (operator of the HR for Humans newsletter, Daily Tech Insider newsletter, and associated display advertising placements). Data shared is limited to campaign attribution identifiers and aggregate performance metrics. We do not share individually identifiable Promotion entry data — including names, email addresses, or company domains — with advertising partners.
5.3 Prize Logistics
Winner shipping information will be shared with logistics and fulfillment vendors solely for the purpose of delivering prizes. The products featured in our Promotion are manufactured by Logitech. Individually identifiable winner data will not be shared with Logitech or any other manufacturer for their independent marketing purposes without separate, affirmative winner consent obtained after the winner is confirmed.
5.4 Legal Requirements and Protection
We may disclose personal information when required or permitted by law, including in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to protect and defend the rights or property of Tech Innovations; to prevent or investigate wrongdoing; or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
5.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide prior notice and applicable rights before personal information is subject to a materially different privacy policy, as required by applicable law.
5.6 With Your Consent
We will share personal information with other third parties only when you have given us express, affirmative consent.
5.7 What We Do Not Share
For clarity, Tech Innovations does not:
• Sell personal information to data brokers or third-party marketers.
• Share entry data, business email addresses, or company information with product manufacturers (including Logitech) for those manufacturers' own marketing purposes, without separate winner consent.
• Provide personal information to TechnologyAdvice or other media partners beyond campaign attribution data necessary to measure advertising performance.
6. COOKIES, WEB BEACONS, AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Like most providers of online services, we use cookies and similar technologies including web beacons, pixels, and local storage to improve your experience, analyze site performance, and support our advertising and attribution efforts.
6.1 What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, mobile phone) when you visit our website. Web beacons (also called transparent GIFs, clear GIFs, or web bugs) are small strings of code or tiny graphic images embedded in web pages or emails that help us understand how users interact with content. These technologies collectively allow us to recognize your browser across visits, remember your preferences, and measure how our site and marketing campaigns perform.
6.2 Categories of Cookies We Use
• Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the website to function. These enable form submissions, session management, and the geolocation-based eligibility controls that prevent the Promotion entry form from being accessed by residents of excluded jurisdictions. These cookies cannot be disabled without impairing core website functionality.
• Analytics Cookies: Collect information about how visitors use our website — pages visited, time on site, referring source, and navigation patterns. Used to improve the site and measure marketing campaign performance. Includes Google Analytics and similar tools.
• Advertising and Attribution Cookies: Measure the effectiveness of our paid media campaigns, including TechnologyAdvice placements. These cookies track whether a visitor arrived via a specific advertisement and whether they completed an action such as entering the Promotion. Data from these cookies may be shared with advertising partners in aggregate or identifiable form for attribution purposes.
• Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences (such as language and region) to improve your return visit experience.
6.3 Third-Party Tracking and Pixels
Our website may contain tracking pixels or scripts from third-party analytics and advertising platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and TechnologyAdvice tracking tags. These third parties may set their own cookies on your device and collect information about your browsing activity across websites. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:
• Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• TechnologyAdvice Privacy Policy: technologyadvice.com/privacy-policy
We are not responsible for the data practices of these third parties. If you have concerns about cookies or pixels set by third parties, please refer to those third parties' own privacy policies and opt-out mechanisms.
6.4 Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Universal Opt-Out — LEGALLY REQUIRED
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a legally binding opt-out request under applicable state law. GPC communicates your preference not to have your personal information sold, shared, or used for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
When our website detects a GPC signal, we treat it as an affirmative opt-out and display a visible confirmation that your preference has been processed (required under California law effective January 1, 2026). GPC recognition is legally mandatory for residents of the following states:
• California (CCPA/CPRA) — since January 2023; visible opt-out confirmation required since January 1, 2026.
• Colorado (CPA) — since July 1, 2024.
• Connecticut (CTDPA) — since January 1, 2025. Connecticut AG has designated GPC as a top 2026 enforcement priority.
• Texas (TDPSA) — since January 1, 2025.
• Oregon (OCPA) — since October 1, 2024.
• Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware — under their respective comprehensive privacy laws.
• Maryland (MODPA) — effective April 1, 2026.
• Minnesota (MCDPA) — effective July 2026.
To enable GPC in your browser, visit globalprivacycontrol.org. GPC is natively supported in Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo, and available via extension for Chrome and other browsers.
6.5 Managing and Disabling Cookies
• Cookie preference center: To update your cookie preferences, clear your browser cookies and revisit our website, or contact us at privacy@tech-innovations.io.
• Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Instructions for major browsers: Chrome — chrome://settings/cookies; Firefox — about:preferences#privacy; Safari — Preferences > Privacy; Edge — Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent key website functionality from working.
• Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Network Advertising Initiative opt-out: optout.networkadvertising.org
• Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out: optoutbeta.aboutads.info
Opting out of cookies does not remove cookies already placed on your device. Delete existing cookies through your browser settings. We do not condition your ability to enter the Promotion on consent to non-essential cookies.
7. PRODUCT MANUFACTURERS AND THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
Tech Innovations is a reseller, not a manufacturer. The hardware and software products we sell or distribute as prizes are designed, manufactured, and supported by independent third-party companies. This has important privacy implications that are unique to our business model.
7.1 How Manufacturer Data Collection Works
When a winner receives a product from Tech Innovations and subsequently:
• Registers that product with the manufacturer;
• Downloads and installs manufacturer software or apps (e.g., Logitech Options+, Logitech G HUB, Logitech Sync);
• Creates an account on a manufacturer's platform (e.g., a Logi ID for Logitech);
• Uses cloud backup, firmware update, or configuration sync features;
• Participates in manufacturer beta programs, surveys, or communities; or
• Interacts with manufacturer customer support;
— that interaction is between you and the manufacturer directly. Tech Innovations is not a party to that data collection. The manufacturer's privacy policy — not this one — governs that data.
7.2 Logitech (Prize Sponsor)
The prizes in the Tech Innovations 2026 Personal Workspace Giveaway consist of Logitech products including the Zone Wireless 2 for Business (UC version), MX Brio 705 for Business, MX Master 3S for Business, and MX Keys for Business. Logitech is an independent company headquartered in Switzerland, operating under its parent Logitech Europe S.A. Logitech's privacy policy is available at logitech.com/en-us/legal/privacy-policy.
Logitech's privacy policy describes, among other things, how Logitech:
• Collects product usage data, device telemetry, and diagnostics through its software (Options+, G HUB, Capture, Sync).
• Uses cookies and tracking technologies on its website.
• Processes personal data in connection with product registration, warranty, and support.
• Handles data for users in the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (Logitech is subject to GDPR through its EU entity).
• Operates the Logitech Privacy Portal at logitech-privacy.relyance.ai for data access and deletion requests directed to Logitech.
Tech Innovations makes no representations or warranties regarding Logitech's data practices. Prize winners should review Logitech's privacy policy before registering products or installing Logitech software.
7.3 Other Manufacturers and Vendors
Tech Innovations resells products from multiple brands and manufacturers. Other third-party vendors whose products you may purchase from Tech Innovations may similarly collect personal data through their own software, apps, firmware, warranty registration systems, or support platforms. Each manufacturer's privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any manufacturer whose product you purchase before registering that product or installing associated software.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
• Promotion entry data (name, business email, company name, job title, state of residence): Retained for a minimum of eighteen (18) months following the close of the Promotion Submission Period for audit, legal, and regulatory purposes, then securely deleted or anonymized.
• Winner data (shipping address, prize fulfillment records, and any tax documentation): Retained for a minimum of seven (7) years following prize delivery, as required for tax compliance and audit obligations.
• Website analytics data: Retained per our analytics provider's configuration — typically thirteen (13) months for Google Analytics. Aggregate anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.
• Email communications: Retained for a minimum of three (3) years, or longer where required by ongoing legal matters.
• Cookies: Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies expire on their specified date, typically thirty (30) days to twenty-four (24) months.
When we no longer have a lawful basis to retain personal information, we will securely delete or anonymize it in a manner that prevents reconstruction or re-identification.
California (CCPA/CPRA, effective January 1, 2026): Businesses must disclose retention periods or the criteria used to determine them for each category of personal information. The schedule above constitutes that disclosure. If you believe we are retaining your data longer than reasonably necessary, you may submit a deletion request as described in Section 10.
9. DO NOT SELL OR SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION / OPT OUT OF TARGETED ADVERTISING
Tech Innovations does not sell personal information as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act (MODPA), or any analogous state law.
We may engage in data-sharing practices with analytics and advertising partners that could constitute "sharing" for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising under California law or "targeted advertising" under other state laws. Residents of applicable states may opt out through any of the following methods:
• Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal (instructions at globalprivacycontrol.org). We honor this as a valid opt-out request under the laws of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware, and Minnesota.
• To adjust your cookie consent preferences, please contact us at privacy@tech-innovations.io.
• Submit a written request to privacy@tech-innovations.io with subject line "Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising."
We do not engage in the sale or sharing for targeted advertising of personal information of individuals we know to be under the age of 16, under any circumstances.
Maryland (MODPA): We do not sell sensitive personal data. MODPA imposes an absolute prohibition on the sale of sensitive personal data — this prohibition cannot be overridden by consent, and we comply with it fully.
10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS BY STATE
Depending on your state of residence, you have specific legal rights regarding your personal information. Each state's rights are set out below with precision, including enforcement agency, penalty exposure, and applicable cure period status. To submit any request, use the contact methods in Section 1. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10.1 California Residents — CCPA / CPRA
Enforcement: California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) and California Attorney General. Penalties: up to $2,500 per unintentional violation; up to $7,500 per intentional violation; up to $7,500 per violation involving minors. No cure period — CPPA may act immediately. Largest recorded fines: $2.75M (Disney, Feb 2026); $1.55M (Healthline, July 2025); $1.35M (Tractor Supply, Sept 2025). Regulations effective Jan 1, 2026 added mandatory opt-out confirmation display, cybersecurity audit requirements, and ADMT restrictions.
Right to Know (Access)
You may request disclosure of: (a) the categories of personal information we collected about you in the preceding 12 months; (b) the categories of sources; (c) our business purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing it; (d) the categories of third parties we shared it with; and (e) the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
Right to Delete
You may request deletion of personal information we collected from or about you, subject to exceptions (e.g., to complete a transaction, detect fraud, comply with a legal obligation, or exercise legal rights).
Right to Correct
You may request correction of inaccurate personal information. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct verified inaccuracies.
Right to Portability
You may request a copy of personal information in a portable, machine-readable format, to the extent technically feasible.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
We do not sell personal information. To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising purposes, use the methods in Section 9. We honor GPC signals as valid opt-out requests and, as of January 1, 2026, display a visible "Opt-Out Request Honored" confirmation when a GPC signal is detected.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You may direct us to limit use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the requested service. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (see Section 3.5).
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a CCPA/CPRA right.
Authorized Agents
California residents may submit requests through an authorized agent with a signed written authorization or valid power of attorney. We may contact you directly to verify the authorization.
California "Shine the Light" Law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83)
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. If our practices change, we will update this section prior to doing so.

We respond to verified CCPA requests within 45 calendar days. We may extend to 90 days total upon notice. Requests are free of charge up to twice per 12-month period.
10.2 Colorado Residents — Colorado Privacy Act (CPA)

Immediate enforcement — no advance notice required. GPC mandatory since July 1, 2024. Response timeframe: 45 days, extendable by 45 additional days upon notice. Free once per year.

July 1, 2026 amendments (SB 1295) lower applicability threshold to 35,000 consumers, expand sensitive data definitions, and add absolute prohibition on processing minors' data for targeted advertising regardless of consent.
• Right to Access: Confirm and obtain a copy of personal data, including inferences. Note: Per July 2026 amendments, we will confirm that sensitive identifiers are held without revealing the data itself.

Appeal Process: If we deny your request, appeal by emailing privacy@tech-innovations.io with subject "APPEAL." We respond within 60 calendar days in writing. If denied, we will provide instructions to file with the Connecticut AG at portal.ct.gov/ag.
Response timeframe: 45 days, extendable by 45 days upon notice.
10.4 Virginia Residents — Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)
Enforcement: Virginia Attorney General (exclusive; no private right of action for core violations). Penalties: up to $7,500 per violation. Cure period: PERMANENT 30-day cure — Virginia's cure period has no sunset, unlike Colorado and Connecticut. Full enforcement confirmed active February 18, 2026. Virginia does not currently mandate GPC recognition. VCDPA applies to entities processing data of 100,000+ Virginia consumers, or 25,000+ while deriving revenue from data sales.

Response timeframe: 45 days, extendable by 45 additional days upon notice.
10.5 Texas Residents — Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA)
Enforcement: Texas Attorney General. Penalties: up to $7,500 per violation. No revenue threshold — TDPSA applies to virtually any business processing data of Texas residents (not just large companies). First enforcement action filed January 2025 (Allstate/Arity geolocation case). Texas is expected to be among the most active enforcement states in 2026. GPC mandatory since January 1, 2025.

• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal data.
• Right to Portability: Obtain a portable copy.

We honor GPC signals as valid opt-out requests from Texas residents. Response timeframe: 45 days, extendable by 45 days upon notice.
10.6 Maryland Residents — Maryland Online Data Privacy Act (MODPA)
Enforcement: Maryland Division of Consumer Protection, Office of the Attorney General. MODPA is the second-strictest state privacy law in the US after California. It introduces mandatory data minimization obligations — data collection must be "reasonably necessary and proportionate" to provide the service, not merely disclosed. Unique feature: absolute prohibition on the sale of sensitive personal data under any circumstances, including with consent. Effective: October 1, 2025. Enforcement: April 1, 2026. Discretionary 60-day cure period, sunsets April 1, 2027. GPC mandatory.

• Data minimization right: MODPA requires that we collect and process only what is reasonably necessary and proportionate to provide the service you requested. You may contact us if you believe we are collecting more data than necessary.
Sensitive data: MODPA prohibits the sale of sensitive personal data outright. This is not a notice-and-opt-out model — it is an absolute prohibition. We do not sell sensitive personal data.
We honor GPC signals from Maryland residents. Response timeframe: 45 days.
10.7 Minnesota Residents — Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (MCDPA)
Enforcement: Minnesota AG. Penalties: up to $7,500 per violation. Cure period: EXPIRED January 31, 2026. Effective: July 31, 2025. GPC required from July 2026. Unique feature: Consumers may request a list of specific named third parties (not just categories) to whom data was actually disclosed.

• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal data.
• Right to Portability: Obtain personal data in portable format.
• Right to Opt Out: Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and profiling with significant effects.

Response timeframe: 45 days.
10.8 New Jersey Residents — New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA)
Enforcement: New Jersey AG. Violations constitute violations of the NJ Consumer Fraud Act: up to $10,000 for first violations, up to $20,000 for subsequent violations. Cure period: Active through approximately July 15, 2026 — after that date, immediate enforcement. NJDPA applies to entities controlling/processing data of 100,000+ NJ consumers, or 25,000+ if deriving revenue from data sales.
• Right to Confirm and Access: Confirm processing and obtain a copy.
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion.

Enforcement: Oregon AG. Cure period: Expired. GPC mandatory since October 1, 2024. OCPA has lower thresholds than many other states: applies to entities controlling/processing data of 100,000+ Oregon consumers, or any amount of sensitive data. Like Minnesota, Oregon gives consumers the right to a list of specific named third parties.
• Right to Confirm and Access: Confirm processing and obtain a copy, including a list of specific named third parties to whom personal data was disclosed.
• Right to Correct: Request correction.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion.
• Right to Portability: Obtain portable copy.
• Right to Opt Out: Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and profiling.

We honor GPC signals from Oregon residents. Response timeframe: 45 days, extendable by 60 days upon notice.
